What is the 454 Club?
We know that you care for youth and want them to receive as many opportunities as possible. We also know that you understand that helping youth understand their role in our community will strengthen all of us. And we know that you know the feeling you get from helping others is immeasureable. The feeling you get when you see the sincere gratitude in the eyes of a child you've helped stays with you for the rest of your life!
454 Club is your chance to get directly involved in a child's life. On average, it costs Boys & Girls Clubs of South Valley $454 each year for one youth to participate fully in our programs and activities. In contrast it takes $82,402 per year for one youth to be admitted to a full-time juvenile detention facility...which would you rather pay for??
454 Club is your opportunity to become a "member" of the Boys & Girls Club through an annual contribution to the programs that positively affect over 11,000 youth in your community. With your contribution you will become a Club member, like our Club youth, and you will receive a membership card which entitles you to some great benefits.
What are the membership levels?
Membership levels begin at $454 annually as a "Sponsor" of one child. For $908 annually, you become a "Sponsor" for two children and for $4540 annually, you become a "Sponsor" for a classroom of 10 children. Naturally you can also donate more if you are able to do so.
